AMES got contracted back in January 2022 by the owner representatives of 3 ea airliner B787-8 which were in storage, to be the CAMO and continue storage activities. Damien our B787 specialist took care of the preservation activities with the two different MROs during a year and a half! In addition we had to make a full documentation review and re-organize the complete records in order to allow the recent sale of the 3 airplanes to a new owner. Our team led by Jean-Mathieu spent hundreds of hours in this project considering the records received from the previous operator were delivered without being organized. This has been a challenging project but allowed us to improve our processes and we learnt a lot in terms of airline re-delivery expectations and this will benefit to our entire fleet of VIP airplanes.
